SUMMARY:Agent Orange Awareness 5K Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:It is with great excitement that we announce the opening of registration for this year’s Agent Orange Awareness 5K Run/Walk in Cherry Hill Village\, presented by Jacob Matthew Jewelers! The race date has been set for Saturday\, September 26\, at 9:00am\, with a 1/4 Mile Fun Run taking place 30-minutes prior at 8:30am. As with last year\, a virtual race option is also available for those who would like to participate on their own time or from another location. The race will start and finish at Preservation Park\, 500 North Ridge Road\, Canton\, MI 48188. Official race timing will be provided by Running Fit of Ann Arbor. \nAs we celebrate our 5-Year Anniversary\, we’re proud to announce our partnership again with Fisher House Michigan for this event. Proceeds from the race will directly benefit Fisher House Michigan\, which provides cost-free lodging to families and caregivers of veterans and active duty service members who are undergoing an episode of care at the VA Healthcare System. This incredible local organization works tirelessly to provide respite and home-away-from-home care for these families\, and we are proud to support them again this year! \nTake advantage of our Early Bird Registration for just $35 through August 31st. The cost of registration will increase to $45 on September 1st\, so be sure to register early and take advantage of the Early Bird discount! \nEvery registrant\, virtual or in-person\, will receive a beautiful finisher medal as part of their registration. Participants will also have the option to purchase an official race t-shirt through the online registration portal. \nAny children (or the young at heart!) who are interested in participating in the 1/4 Mile Fun Run can participate by bringing a simple donation of name-brand travel size toiletries\, crayons and coloring books\, or a $5 Kroger gift card. Likewise\, we’ll have pre-assembled donation packs you can purchase on race day for just $5. SUMMARY:ARToberfest: Family Fall Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill and Canton Township are excited to announce the return of the Fourth Annual ARToberfest Family Fall Festival\, a one-day artisan and vendor fair that will be held on Saturday\, September 26\, 2026\, from 12-4 p.m. This special event\, which will take place in Cherry Hill Village\, as well as at the Arts Warehouse\, located at 50755 Cherry Hill Road\, is sponsored by Blink Eye Care\, UBS\, and The Village Dentist. \nFestivalgoers will have a chance to fully immerse themselves in art and fall fun throughout Cherry Hill Village\, as well as at the Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill\, located at 50755 Cherry Hill Road.  Additional festivities of this family-friendly event include an artisan marketplace\, live music\, and food trucks.  In addition\, cider\, donuts\, seasonal snacks\, and more will also be available. \nIf art is your main interest\, in addition to the artisan marketplace\, the Cherry Hill Potters Guild will also be holding their fall exhibition and pottery sale at the Arts Warehouse\, providing festivalgoers with a chance to peruse and buy one-of-a-kind creations. The Fourth Youth Art Fair featuring the work of promising student artists ages 8 to 18 will be held onsite as well. \n“The interest in this popular family fall festival that celebrates the arts has been remarkable\,” stated Kevin Ryan\, Program Director of the Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill. “Each year\, ARToberfest continues to evolve into an ideal fall destination. It not only offers a diverse range of creative works and merchandise for sale but also features a variety of family-friendly artistic activities that highlight the arts.” \nFestivalgoers are sure to enjoy the bustling artisan marketplace. Live entertainment will also be featured.  Additional activities include a range of engaging fall-themed activities tailored specifically for children\, as well as lawn games. \nFestivalgoers will also be able to view the 32nd  annual Canton Fine Arts Exhibition\, on display throughout October in the Gallery at Cherry Hill inside the Village Theater\, as well as the Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill  Fine Art exhibition inside its facility.  Both venues showcase a broad range of artistic styles and interpretations in a variety of mediums from emerging and well-established Michigan artists. \nThe public is encouraged to attend this fall event\, which will be held in and around Cherry Hill Village\, as well as at the Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill.
