Art Exhibit Reception: The Aura of Blue

Join us Saturday, August 15, 6-8pm at the Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill to experience The Aura in Blue an exhibition that celebrates the transformative power of color and the enduring connection between art, emotion, and healing. This captivating group exhibition features the work of three accomplished artists—photographer Elena Adam and painters Sylvia Bandkye and Sharlene Walton.

Centered around the expressive power of a single color, The Aura of Blue invites viewers on a journey through the hearts and minds of three distinct artistic voices. With playful exploration and a colorful message of healing, it taps into the elements of art, an array of emotions, an allure of nostalgia, and the generosity of nature’s gifts. Skylines, waterways, and vibrant compositions come together to create an immersive experience that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.

Research has long associated a blue aura with calmness, healing, and intuition. Inspired by these qualities, the artists embrace a spectrum of blues—from luminous blue-white to rich blue-black- calling upon the infinite blues of life, and sharing their individual and collective truths through thoughtful and heartfelt artistic expression.
